Our management leads by example and a great deal of experience, This helps our company flourish and achieve our mission.
“As a third-generation coffee trader, my roots in the coffee industry run deep, intertwined with the very soil of Killenso Mokonisa a remote locality in Guji, where my grandfather planted the first coffee seedling in 1960. From a young age, I was immersed in the tradition of coffee cultivation, picking cherries alongside my father, who dedicated his life to this noble trade.
I witnessed the evolution of our family’s commitment to coffee, from my grandfather’s pioneering efforts to my father’s establishment of the first coffee washing machine in our area. The rhythmic hum of that machine became the soundtrack to my childhood, a testament to the transformative power of innovation in the coffee trade.
In 1998, I took the helm and founded Nardos Coffee Export a green coffee bean exporting company, building upon the legacy handed down through generations. For me, Nardos coffee Export is not merely a business but a continuation of a familial journey with coffee, a journey that started with the planting of a single seedling and has flourished into a thriving enterprise that exports the finest coffee.
Our commitment extends beyond exporting coffee; it’s a dedication to quality, sustainability, and the rich stories woven into each coffee bean. As we strive to honor the traditions of our forefather we also embraced the advancements that propel our industry forward. As such we implemented eco-friendly processing mechanisms and engaged in rigorous awareness creation on climate change believing that as the only way we can sustain the legacy of our for father.Â
Through the years, our roots have grown stronger, and our passion for coffee has deepened. We are not just exporters; we are custodians of a heritage that spans decades. Every shipment carries not just beans but the essence of our family’s dedication to coffee, a commitment that began with my grandfather, continued with my father, and now propels us into the future.
At Nardos, we believe in giving back to the communities that nurture our coffee. We’ve built schools, provided livelihood training including training on sewing machine for girls, distributed sanitary pads for girls to reduce girls school dropouts, and supplied school materials every year during the start of schooling. It’s our way of ensuring that the benefits of our journey are shared with those who make it possible.”
