The Foge Washing Station is located in the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. It is one of the oldest and most respected washing stations in the region, and is known for producing some of the highest quality coffees in Ethiopia.
The station is located at an altitude of 2,000 meters above sea level, and it receives an average annual rainfall of 1,500 millimeters. The soil in the area is rich in volcanic ash, which is ideal for growing coffee.
