Uraga

Washing Station

Uraga is a district (also known as Aanaa) in the Guji Zone of the Oromia Region, Ethiopia. It’s located about 450 kilometers south of the capital city, Addis Ababa.

Uraga’s high altitude (above 2,000 meters) and rich volcanic soil create ideal conditions for growing coffee. The coffee beans from Uraga are known for their complex flavors, with vibrant stone fruit notes like peach and apricot, paired with floral undertones and a honey sweetness.
